DOC'S OPTION -SOLD!

Postby Jessi P » Sun Oct 04, 2009 10:40 am

***SOLD***

Doc’s Option
2000 16.3+ gelding
$1,000 FIRM to great home, uncomplicated sale.
Pedigree: http://www.pedigreequery.com/docs+option
Located at a training center 5 minutes from Mountaineer Park, zip 26050.

Doc is a tall, well built 9 yo gelding with an exceptionally nice sport horse pedigree. Owner wants to retire him into a good home with a person to love him and a new job to enjoy. Mild cribber, controlled with strap.

Will be measured on 10-5-09 but eyeballs at almost 17 hands – this is a BIG fellow. Doc had poultice on when we took his pictures, as he had just raced, but we will be getting leg and feet photos on 10-5-09. Doc was sensible, calm and cooperative for his photo shoot on a blustery day with horses turned out in the fields around him.

Wow, he's got some presence.
He reminds me of my OTTB gelding, who made 77 starts and earned just over $200,000. Tough, durable, and kind horse.
This guy looks like much the same, and if he's anything like my guy, he'll be a real treat to have around.
Hope he finds a good home, he definitely deserves it.

Cree aren't those hard knocking horses great?

We got pics today of Doc's legs, AND measured him. This big boy measures at 17.0 3/4," just a hair shy of 17.1!! He is very smoothly put together, his parts all flow into one another and blend well.

Jessi P,
Yep, I love those hard knocking horses. That's the only kind of horse I want, they are such honest horses to be around.
His legs look great, 76 starts and looking good. He's huge and gorgeous. For $1000 he's a steal, he's got an amazing presence, you can see it in the pictures.
I am on the West Coast, and one is enough for me, but MAN, he'd look nice under me!
You said the owner's looking for a good home, so that's great. I keep coming back and looking at the pictures. He's just so handsome.

Once again, oh, to have a stall. In his case, a BIG stall . . .
