This horse was offered for sale sometime ago, I am in KY and had intended trying to find a partner on him. Could not find a partner, I did come across 2 farms that agreed in principle to stand him though. I find that at the low end of the market there is very little selection or quality in KY. Unfortunately that is where I am at the low-end. I thought that this horse would provide a interesting alternative. He appears to be pinfired across his shins. Shin soreness was the reason given for not racing and he did have a good juvenile work at Keeneland against 7 horses 4f in 46 flat. After that he went missing on the work Tab for a period.
He is unraced. I have seen him though and he is a great looking horse, good bone and correct. He has about 9 foals on the ground. Some real fine looking foals with good size. His pedigree is also a strong point. He is by Pulpit out of a full sister to Yankee Gentleman(Gr1 prd sire). His half brother is Half Ours. His 3rd dam is the dam of Tribal Rule (G1prd Sire), and 4th dam is the dam mof Pirate's Bounty Gr1 prd Sire). 5th dam was a champion 2yr filly in Eng. Ok I think I know the feedback I will get, I have already got some real negative feedback but also some positive. It's not easy being a incurrable optimist. I do think he is a nice horse, and breeding is a funny science sometimes.

If you have basically talked yourself (and others) out of liking this stallion, what would be your goal of standing him as a stud?
He's not going to be commercial, so is it to stand a cheap alternative to other sons of Pulpit?
From the blog in the blog you posted his conformation is not great. It's not horrible but it's not breath taking.
Where are you in KY, he is a stallion I would like to see in person to truly judge his conformation.
