There is a stark genetic difference between a black horse and a bay horse and TrueColours is a color breeder so when she says black, I believe she means completely black. Right, Donna?
Is there a genetics colour lab in your basement?
We had a homozygous black stallion who faded out to lighter than this colour in the summer.....
No lab in the basement, no.. but lab equipment all over the office.. however, horses that fade out tend to fade out in the mane, tail, etc. Not underneath on the stifle. I happen to have sold Donna a mare last year and when she says black with four whites, I believe nothing else whatsoever will turn her head. Also, usually black horses are registered as blk not dk bay.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....
How about this Black Beauty! And only $900.00
If her race pedigree was better in family I would buy her in a heart beat!

MAN - she is NICE looking!
I'm beginning to regret our "Boys only" policy....
Man guys, I'm blushing
I pulled her out of the pasture, pulled a comb through her tail, pulled her mane and chucked her out in the paddock for some shots.
I obsessively mow my pastures, that's my secret
Sabovee - I should have bred her to Sabona! Then you couldn't have said no
She has a LOVELY Tough Call yearling though, and I wanted to put that match back together again. I think physically, if I had bred her to Sabona, that offspring would be about 5' wide <g>
