Temporary Price Cut on 3YOs!

Postby Roguelet » Tue Jan 09, 2007 11:45 am

In an attempt to get some horses out of here before the second stallion and several more mares come in, and all the foals start dropping, I have reduced the price on our four 3YO horses. We have played around with these guys for too long because we've had several people express interest in partnering on them or coming to see them, but at this point it's time for action!

These were all listed at $6000 or above, but have been dropped to $5000 each listed price, and that is negotiable to the right RACING home. This offer is good until the end of January at least, and potentially into February, but it is not a permanent price drop. We would also be willing to discuss the option of giving these horses to someone to race, in exchange for a percentage of the purse, with option to buy at a later date. They will also remain available for racing partnerships as per our web site.

While I would like to move several horses right now, they don't HAVE to go and this is not an emergency, so please don't get that impression. If we don't have them sold or into a racing partnership by late Winter, we'll put them in training ourselves and their prices will be increased accordingly.

These are all 3YOs this year, all are Indiana bred and sired, and all are eligible for added Indiana purse money. All are listed in the database:

Classy Patty, g. filly (Classy Prospector - White Cerf, by Morning Bob)
Indy Squared, c. filly (Indy Mood - Indecent Proposal, by Proponent)
Apollo's Reality, b. gelding (Indy Mood - Corelate, by Smile)
Ice Lizard, b. filly (Indy Mood - Lizard Blizzard, by Mt. Magazine)

Some of these will be going out for initial training probably later this month... I'll let you know which one(s) go.

Classy Patty and a 3YO colt not listed in the original post (because he's already fully partnered out) are on their way to begin training as I write this.

Darn if "Patty" didn't walk right onto that trailer like she'd been doing it her whole life. I don't even think she hesitated at the door! She hasn't been off the farm since she was very young, so I was expecting a bit more of an "I'm not really sure about this" attitude.

The colt has NEVER been off the farm, and he didn't take much longer to load than the filly! This is a GOOD trailer day! :D
