Postby JaradM » Thu Jan 31, 2008 2:21 pm

Posting for a friend:

LA accredited 2 year old filly named Learning the Way is by Placid Fund out of Learning The Ropes By Fit To Fight. L-Way as we call her is a 1/2 sister to Kubwa who ran second in the Pioneer Stakes. Her sire produced 62% winners from starters with several Black Type runners. Her sire is by Dixieland Band. She is eligible for the Louisiana Futurity and the Louisiana Stallion Stakes. L-Way is not broke, she is easy to handle and has a great disposition. L-Way is a March baby. $2,800

 Hey Jarad; Thanks for listing this 2 year old for me. I finally was able to regester on this forum. Yes she is a nice Filly. She is paid up to date for the Louisiana Futurity and she is also eligible for the Stallion Stakes. She Looks & Feels GREAT!!! She needs a good owner that will race her.

That would be Kubwa, her stakes placed colt that ran second in the Pioneer Stakes.

This is a very nice filly because her 2nd dam has 3 sucessful breedings to Dixieland Band and her sire, Placid Fund, is by Dixieland Band. One is a winner of over $240,000.

Her dam, Learning The Ropes, is in foal to Gold Tribute who is a FULL brother to the sire of Kubwa (who is Souviner Copy). This will also be a nice baby to look forward to. She is due in the begining of May.
