2 Tb mares that need new homes

Postby mehile » Wed Apr 30, 2008 6:26 pm

A guy in my area has 2 mares for sale that he wants to gone by saterday. I don't really have the room for 2 more but will take them in if nessisary. He is asking 800 for both but since he wants them gone so fast I'm guessing he'll deal with less. This is the e-mail he sent me along with contact info.

Sister Laura- Raffie's Majesty/Merry Sunshinewinner of $28,000+ full pedigree on pedigreequery website. Retired due to knee chips. She is head shy due to apparent abuse atracetrack. Needs experienced handler(I am not). She badly needs her hooves trimmed(I cannot getlead in her/have no time to work with her).Has a keen eye-seems to be extremely intelligent. Tour D Miss- Tour D'or/Ms Myuki, also on PedQuerywebsite. Winner of $28,000+ also. She wasretired after losing her interest in racing. The only "injury" was an old, cold osselet onher rear left ankle. It doesn't stop her. Sheis quick and has the ability to take off throughthe pen at full speed and stop on a dime. Both are a little over 15 hands(I bought them list said 15.1)I brought these home, but am in over my head. I am willing to let them go for $800 for both mares to the right person. They are currently at a friend's place and I need to move them quickly.

Dang it I wish you were closer. I used to own Sister Laura's 1/2 sister Princess CoCo..very nice mare and the family are nice little runners here in NY. Her brother Richbourne Court recently raced I remember seeing his entry notification in my emails. Thank you for helping these mares!
