"Shadow" has just completed 60 days of initial training with a highly regarded trainer in upstate/western NY. He is going great undersaddle and being ridden in the arena and outside on trails. He is low key and uncomplicated. Going to be a great mount for foxhunting/trail/jumper/eventing. He is tall and angular, not as heavy boned as you would expect. Long, spacious stride. Asking $3000.

Not that this will necessarily help you BUT, I looked a year for a new horse for a friend who'd had 2 back surgeries and had lost all her nerve riding. Anyway, I finally found a Clydesdale/TB cross that I thought would be perfect for her. Even though he was still a relatively green 5yr. old he was so quiet! Anyway she did buy him and 2 mos. later she is still calling me constantly to tell me how much she loves this horse. :D I had never had any experience with draft horses, but I think that as long as they're not allowed to walk all over you (like any big horse) that they are inherently quiet.

My friends 3 yr old 3/4 clyde 1/4 TB is the most docile easy filly I have ever seen. Rides and drives! Premarin foal...got her when she was 8 months old and unhandled. LOL! Funny how things work out.
