My Loss is Your Gain

Postby DormelloFellow » Mon Nov 17, 2008 10:30 am

I am having a not-so-complete dispersal. I am going to list everything I have and see if it is of interest to anyone out there. I have mares, open and in foal, yearlings and weanlings. I will give some information, but you can email me for specifics:

Honey League Girl - SW and 4x Stakes Producer in foal to Aldebaran.

Lovely Bonita - Black-type winner of $166K in foal to Aptitude and 1st foal by Alphabet Soup.

Calpella - Black-type producer in foal to Congaree.

Blonde Dynamite - Allowance winner of $177K in foal to Repriced and 1st foal by Concerto.

Burst of Laughter - Black-type producer in foal to Tenpins.

Emma's Gold - MSP including a GSP winner bred on Raja Baba cross and she is in foal to Yes It's True on similar cross.

Festive Lady - Winner of $218K and first foal by Lion Heart died at birth because he was breach and stuck. She was bred to Closing Argument this year.

Nervous Naevus - Winning mare in foal to Stormin Fever and has beautiful Cherokee Run weanling.

Pat - Winning mare of $77K has Powerscourt yearling and is in foal to Tenpins.

Perfect Lass - winner of $150K has Cryptoclearance weanling and was bred to Giacomo.

Restless Tyrant - Producer of many nice winners bred to Najran.

Robertina - SW and MS producing mare bred to Dayjur.

Sheldon Seen - Nice big mare in foal to Proudest Romeo.

Show Star - winner and producer of winners in foal to Tenpins.

Shroud Remark - Storm Bird mare in foal to Devil His Due and has Take Me Out weanling like Bellamy Road.

Whistlin Missle - Young Golden Missile mare in foal to Black Tie Affair.

Many Open mares as well.

Yearlings by Deputy Commander, Swain, Tenpins, Boone's Mill, Sky Mesa, etc.

Weanlings by Concerto, Manlove, Cherokee Run, Marquetry, Cryptoclearance, Take Me Out, Mutakddim, Patton, etc.

Almost all of the stud fees are paid on the in foal mares and all but two are A+ or A++ Nicks.

I would like to get $20K for Honey, $10K for Lovely Bonita (I paid $9 and she wasn't in foal to a $20K stallion), $7500 for Calpella, $1500 for Blonde Dynamite, $1000 for Burst of Laughter IF and $500 open, Emma's Gold has a stud fee not paid, so take her and pay the $35K to Three Chimneys, Festive lady would be $500 open and if in foal, pay stud fee to Hill n Dale of $12,500, Nervous Naevus would be $7500 (want to keep her because of the Cherokee Run filly), Pat would be $2000 in foal and $500 if she slipped, Perfect Lass would be $7500 in foal and $500 if not, Restless Tyrant would be $5K in foal and $500 if not, Robertina would be $2000 in foal and $500 if not, Sheldon Seen is priced at $1000, Show Star is $2500 only because Tenpins stud fee is $6500 and her foals look perfectly conformed EVERY time(a show person's dream), Shroud Remark is priced at $3500 and Whistlin Missle is $3000. The other 22 mares I have are in foal to my own stallion, Baron de Vaux, or they are open. I am asking $1000 for in foal and $500 if open. If you want information on the babies, let me know and I'll post again.
Thanks,
B

Hey Brian, is your Festive Lady the '98 model x Festive? If so, you should call Festive's owner and ask if they're interested in her. I talk to them occasionally and will mention her, if she's that one.

Wish I could help you out, but I'm selling a few also. Actually sold the 2 broodmares I had for sale. Now down to one gelding (jumper) and 1 weanling. When they go, maybe I can sneak a couple back in without Ronnie noticeing

That is the correct Festive Lady. I bought her at the FTK sale and bred her to Lion Heart and then Closing Argument. I am having everyone palped next week and can re-confirm all pregnancies.

Are you selling any of your mares in foal to Baron de Vaux? I'm looking for sporthorse types, not racers, and he has a very intriguing pedigree. With the right mare . . .

I sent two emails to you.
