Try going the performance route with Glorious Return, Gilded Key and Banker's Reign. They are the only ones with close enough pedigrees to show performance potential.

Oakridge Star has the same dam as a young mare I had. She had incredible jump, and decent rideablility. Don't know if it was from the Wheaton side of her though.

Yes we have practiced over some cross country jumps with him.... actually Bugatti Blue is the best and boldest jumper.
