I thought you had a great find, but I think they put the wrong name on Canter and it's not Lucky Striker but is instead Lucky Strike Her.
I'll admit that the first thing that got me thinking there was a mistake was the old adage that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
Then I noticed that the Canter listing said this mare was five and the well bred Lucky Striker is only four.
Then I noticed that the well bred Lucky Striker was claimed out of a winning effort at Santa Anita in February for 20k and while she hasn't raced or worked since I still couldn't see how she found her way to PA to be listed on the Canter site. I mean if you've got one off the track in CA that you're looking to rehome your first instinct isn't usually to put them on a costly cross country flight to PA so that they can be listed on the Canter site. Plus the canter site said the advertised mare was completely sound with no issues and if it were the well bred Lucky Striker who just won for $20k then somebody would be running her rather than trying to sell her for 2k on Canter.
Then I disovered a 5yo (like the ad said) named Lucky Strike Her who raced last year at Penn National.
I could be wrong but my guess would be that the filly advertised on Canter is Lucky Strike Her and not Lucky Striker.
Lucky Striker would be well worth the $2,000 as a broodmare prospect.
But you couldn't PAY me $2,000 to take Lucky Strike Her as a broodmare prospect.
Good eye catching that name who would indeed have been interesting to someone.
Just bad spelling by the people listing this mare on Canter.

I just looked further and the trainer of Lucky Strike Her was Amy Randolph which is also the contact person in the Canter listing so this is almost certainly Lucky Strike Her and not the well bred Lucky Striker.
Sounds like Lucky Strike Her could be a nice sport horse prospect though so maybe someone will be interested in her for that (probably not at a price of $2,000 though unless she's already begun her 'retraining').
