HUGE UPDATE!! Her 2yo Royal Academy filly (Bruin Ballet) finished 3rd in her debut Saturday at Hollywood Park... against open maiden special weights, not CA-breds! Broke poorly and still finished strong. Appears to have a ton of talent...

I thought the races were at Santa Anita at this time.

They are. The race referred to in the initial post took place on 11/20/09.

The post has a Jan 27/2010 date, and said "saturday" and "huge update".
I wouldn't think of a November date.

I agree with you--although it did say that a 2yo filly had placed last Saturday and nobody's carding races for 2yos yet--that's why I went and looked it up. A HUGE UPDATE that happened three months ago is now OLD NEWS. :wink:

The (now 3yo) filly has since run, unplaced, at SA.

The 3yo runs again tomorrow... maiden special weights at Santa Anita, 6.5 furlongs on the downhill turf course.
