POT LIMIT SOLD

Postby Jessi P » Thu Apr 01, 2010 5:42 pm

***SOLD***

Pot Limit is a handsome 16.2h gelding who is looking for a new career after racing. This stout 11 yo gelding has good conformation with a solid uphill build, strong engine, good bone and big heart girth. Pot Limit is a controlled cribber. He is an older, experienced gelding with an excellent brain. Easy shipper. Nothing phases this guy - his transition into a new career will be smooth and easy.

Very nicely bred, notable sport horse sires in Pot Limit's pedigree include Halo, Mr Prospector, The Minstrel, Northern Dancer, and Key to the Mint, among others. This pedigree doubles up on the broodmare power of Gallorette thru two tail female lines to Flight Dancer (3rd dam of SAINT LIAM).

Don't let his winter woolies fool you - Pot Limit sheds out to a beautiful slick summer coat with just the right amount of bling on 3 legs and his face. He is partly wet in these photos, taken after his bath this morning. Owner/trainer says he is sound on old ankles.

Hmm... For some reason this horse strikes me as a Crystal type!

Thanks Helen,, How is Officer doing?

Pretty gelding! He has a trusting, old soul type face. Old Warrior- like. Somebody will have themselves a beautiful horse.

Amanda I think with his size and temperament he would make a good pony. Nobody would push him around, that's for sure. ;)

Doesn't he had nice legs and feet for someone who raced all that time. Something odd about the conformation of his back. Maybe its just a tad long. He just looks so solid, like a solid citizen. I keep going back to his legs and feet. Pin fired, huh? That' never bothered me. Maybe that's why his legs are so nice.

Just nice legs and ankles and feet. Looks like he's been well taken care of during his career.
Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
