At the end of this racing season we will be looking to place our horse Sea Pleasure in an ideal, approved situation. "Porky" is a 16.2hh multiple Stakes winning stallion by Mecke (full brother to Champion Beautiful Pleasure) out of the multiple Stakeswinning mare Song of Jove (Moment of Song, etc) by Stakeswinner Northern Jove (by Northern Dancer). His pedigree is a list of champions and longevity. Like his half brother, he has had a phenominal long racing career and a true heart of a champion with a physique to match. He is in excellent health, weight, and physical condition, and we anticipate this to continue.

We have enjoyed having him for his last few racing years and hope to give him a purpose after racing. We believe he would make a fabulous regional/state racing stud or sporthorse stallion. Please email me at jengersnaps at juno dot com or PM for more details.
Thank you.
ETA - Height and I will have a short jog video up by tomorrow.

Thank you. We love having him. I can spend considerable time just watching him on the track and on the farm.

Going4, thanks for that! I had no idea!
I thought I knew a lot about his ped, which I do from a racing perspective, but I never looked at Sad Song's progeny. For all the TBs I could have ended up with, it's cool to see his grandmother also threw a big contribution to color. Porky has his four whites and face markings, so I imagine he won't throw all that many plain jane bays.

For those who don't know, Not Quite White is the dam of AIRDRIE APACHE... a very popular sire of colored TBs. AA is also double registered with the APHA (paint horse assoc). Very nice to find this so close in Sea Pleasure's pedigree.

Thank you for all the replies thus far. I have had considerable interest and will take time looking over offers and intents. Several have been from close to me and the farms will be more accessible for me to visit in person. I have lots to think about and follow up on but certainly am open to other offers so please contact me directly with inquiries.

Thanks to all the inquiries we have had regarding Porky, we believe we have found an ideal place for him to stand at and are working on the details.
