It is hard to tell with such a poor picture. Those back legs do look pretty crooked, and seeing she is by Unbridled, they probably are. Also the fact that she was offered as a 2 year old broodmare prospect that RNA'd is somewhat telling. It would be interesting to see what her foals look like.

That's the kind of blanket statement that doesn't begin to address the particulars of the conformation issues that Unbridled possessed and often handed on to this offspring. If indeed he did throw crooked hind legs, this is the first I've ever heard of it.

"Let's go to hip No. 5. This is the Unbridled.
Ward: For an Unbridled, this is a pretty smooth kind of horse. Big, rangy, slightly stiff and his left hind toes out a little bit. A little crooked in the left hind, but that goes along with Unbridleds."
This is just one of the articles I've read about him, but blanket statement or not, it is just my opinion. To which I am entitled...

Torch was boarded here from 2005 until 2007. Her 1st foal was born crooked and had surgery at Cornell. The decision was made not to race her and she was given to the farm owners. Her 2nd foal, a colt by Catenius was HUGE as a yearling and a hard keeper. This picture was taken in September 2006
He was injured while in training in Florida and sadly broke down in his 4th or 5th start and was euthanized.
The 2006 filly was huge at birth, but it was an uneventful delivery and the filly last I heard was still in training in the MidAtlantic Region. Her best start to date was a 4th? at Belmont/Aqueduct..purely going on memory here about that.
I am trying to find a few pictures and I put them on a photobucket account
I have had nothing to do with the mare since late 2007 but I can provide information on her via PM to anyone interested in her breeding history thru 2008.
She is easily 17h, a very sweet laid back mare, and a very hard keeper.
