TB mares and one APHA paint filly for sale or trade for one good TB or QH. Please read on what we are looking to trade for.
We will trade all our mares and the filly for ONE JC registered TB or registered AQHA filly, colt, gelding or stallion under the age of 4. Must be at least halter broke and be well handled, healthy and not a basket case around people. Must have clean legs and sound for riding. Breeding is not overly important but we will not take any in breeding lines.
We are offering for sale or to trade the following:
2003 Gray TB mare, GUM DROP LOU. Never raced, race trained only. Has had one foal in 2010 but was never bred back. She is broke for the mountains cutting cattle, is sound and open for 2011. She stands about 16 hh, loads, ties, cross ties, clips and baths. She is aloof and seems to be a one person horse. She has the movement for flat work and confirmation for jumping but she has no training for such. We got her to free jump once. Sorry we do not have the time to try and get videos on her. If you are close best is to come see her. We do have one video of her movement on youtube....email us for link. UTD on feet/worm and recent vet check (Dec 28/10)..Asking $800. Papers in hand.
2001 Gray TB mare, KANT TOUCH. May be in foal for 2011, first foal. We have palpated her 3 times, vet says no but she keeps putting on weight. She would be due in Feb/11. She is broke, has been ridden on trails and in the arena by kids all summer of 2010. She is very nice mannered mare. Stands about 16 hh, loads, clips, baths, ties and cross ties and is laid back. Raced but came off sound. She goes well on the flat in English, but she has also been poled. No official training. She has a bump on her head from being kicked and an old hoof injury that will always produce proud flesh. Also has clouded eye that is normal, no vision loss. All have been vet check and do not cause any discomfort. UTD on feet/worm and recent vet check...(Dec 28/10)...Asking $400 FOAL IS TO COME BACK...$1200 if you want to keep foal. Papers in hand.
1994 Sorrel TB mare, KAYCEES CUTIE. Not bred, open for 2011. Has had one foal. She is a show mare and knows her stuff!! She jumps up to 4 feet and has shown jumper for many years. Does low level dressage as well. She needs an experienced rider as she can be hot under saddle but is a dream in hand, anyone can handle her on the ground. She is a very sweet mare, stands about 15.2, loads, ties, cross ties, baths, clips and body clips, lunges knows all her commands. Sound and has clean legs, never raced. Was race trained only. Is UTD on feet/worm and recent vet check. She lost a little top line and is on a new feed program. Is an easy keeper but she is an older mare and needs a little extra TLC. 2008 APHA Tobiano filly. We got her pretty much un handled in March/2010, not even halter broke. She now leads, loads, ties and cross ties, clips and baths and lunges knowing all her commands. She is in your pocket puppy dog personality wanting to be with you every second. She loves people and attention and is the sweetest horse in the barn. She has most all ground work done but is NOT broke. She also still has issues with lifting her feet more then 5 seconds, but that is our fault. That is where we left off with her 5 months ago when my rider moved out of state and I have to many other horses. So she got left behind. However she is still handled daily going in and out of the barn. We lunge her once in awhile just to make sure she still knows her lessons. She is UTD on worming only, and recent vet check. Is sound and healthy. She does have an old baby injury from a wire that never got tended to. It is 100% cosmetic and just a scar. Vet checked and does not cause any discomfort or lameness. Can be cleaned up a little to made look better under sedation. Recent vet check, (Dec 28/10)....Asking $400. Papers in hand.
