I have a client seeking a broodmare under 12yrs old, with absolutely NO Northern Dancer or Raise A Native blood, must have Buckpasser within 1st 3 generations. Preferably under $1500 and within 300 miles of Albany NY.
I know it sounds impossible but you all are fantastic about finding that needle in the haystack!
Thanks

Broodmare
My TB Mare Tanya's Song is In WV and is lookig for a new job off the Track. She has Northern Dancer blood from way way back
but she does have Buckpasser from 3 generations ago. She is priced very reasonably at $1,500 obo. Email me at [email protected] if interested.
little over in the price but that includes a foal at side and she may be bred....

Have you considered Double Talkin?
Hi!
Have you considered Double Talkin on Canter New England. The mare has heart and is stakes placed winner of $240,000+. She is a little weak on pedigree but for $1500 she should well be worth the money. She has no Buckpasser in her 1st 3 generations but she is a granddaughter of Pleasant Colony. If I had the money I would buy her because she has heart and she won 17 races. Good racing mares usually make the best broodmares.

The filly at her side has all the wrong lines, but she can be sold
I just happen to run into that ad when I was browsing for something else, but she seemed to fit the bill. Found a few more that might fit too if this one does not work out. I have one here that is exactly what you were looking for but you can not have her

927. Brown Beauty, Bay mare, 15.3hh, 6 years old
Trainer says the name is apt--she is beautiful--with classic TB looks. Started off her career at historic Churchill Downs in Kentucky before she made her way to New England! Unusual pedigree too: no Native Dancer or Northern Dancer...but she does carry the blood of the immortal Buckpasser--one of the toughest, most talented racers of all time! Petitie and feminine mare who needs to find a life beyond running; could make a very nice sport horse broodmare, or, will make nice flat horse/dressage prospect. Asking $2,000--MUST SELL! Call Nick Bertone at 617-826-3380

RE: Sacandaga Gold Funny, I stumbled across this mare and her filly just two nights ago while browsing the web and have tried - in vain - to convince partner that we need to another broodmare.
IF you're interested in this mare - and obviously, I think she's pretty nice -consider this: even if you don't like the pedigree of her Hook and Ladder filly - from the photo with her ad - it does appear to be a very nicely conformed filly....so a good indicator that this mare can throw a decent looking foal....
