I am trying to locate my beloved filly, Sharp Corner. What I know about her latest whereabouts is that she is/was owned by Jean & Judith Gilmore who are from Texas, I believe. She is reported to have had a foal last year but it is unregistered for some reason.
Shamrock (her barn name) is very special to me and if the owners are not using her I would like to try to bring her home. She is a multiple race winner and her dam was the most gallant, wonderful mare I have ever known.
Shamrock's 2004 colt is sired by Alawal, a horse that I cannot find any information about but he has a nice turf pedigree. If anyone from TX recognizes any of these names or has advice on how to track down this filly, I would be eternally grateful. I am positively appalled at the reports of nice horses going to the meat buyers in TX and I want to make sure this doesn't happen to Shamrock. She has an uncommercial female line.
