Do you have any foal history on the mare? ie. previous matings and whether they have gotten to the track.... Fastness was a heck of a turf horse and is a bit unusual to see as a J-Bred sire because Monmouth has a history of not writing restricted (J-Bred) grass races. As for questions on this filly being a good Jbred prosprect because she is by Fastness , the dam didnt like the grass at all so you never know. We tried to breed a good durable race horse , not just a Jbred horse. You have to try and Think Big! There are grass bred Jersey stallions with foals that are running Jbred and those sires sure didn't do what Fastness did. A millionaire+ miler is a good sire whether grass or dirt .
