Young stallion, by Gone West o/o Secretariat mare -SOLD 11/7

Postby Waquoit » Tue Nov 01, 2005 3:53 pm

Another horse at Suffolk Downs whose trainer doesn't want to pay to keep him over the winter, since his racing days are clearly done. This is a VERY attractive stallion - picture does him no justice - and he should produce some class sporthorses as well as racing prospects. MUST SELL, ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED!

Call Terry Murray - 401-783-1838

Tia Pan, Bay stallion, 3yo, 16hh
Stellar bloodlines--son of perennial top sire Gone West--and his looks reflect his royal lineage! Stallion prospect only, ankle problems mean no/minimal riding.

He only started 3 times - hurt his ankle in one of his first races.

I am not the seller - I am a volunteer for CANTER New England. The owner is willing to consider all offers (he doesn't want to have to lay the horse up over the winter, when he's not going to be able to race again), so you can give him a call and talk to him about price. Spoke with the trainer last night - he believes the owner will take $500.

stcath, Tia Pan is listed on EquineNow (look at the banners at the top right of this screen) for $500. Do a search for TB stallions and you should find his ad. Contact info was listed above or should be on his ad.

Good luck,
Laurie

If I could have made room for a stallion, I would have loved to have bought him. His half brother by FuPeg sold for $240,000 today at Keeneland.
