Well-Bred Mare in Need of Home ASAP
Horse Would Be Free to a Good Home

We have just received word of a mare named TEXASBLUEDIF that needs a home immediately. Texasbluedif is a 5 year old, 16H grey mare who just had a condylar fracture at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie. She will need some stall rest but the fracture shows good prognosis for healing with proper rest, according to the trainer.

She is SUPER well bred with Icecapade lines:

With time, she could be a nice riding horse and also could be an excellent addition to a sporthorse breeding program.

Her trainer has been told to move her out within a few days, and he is very anxious to find her a safe home.

Mare is located at Lone Star Race Park near Dallas. Please call Andy at 281-541-1199 if you would like more information on the mare.

The LOPE Ranch is unfortunately very full now, and we appreciate all of your help in networking for Texasbluedif. Thank you! :!:

Her dam Texas Blue Belle ran 3 times (2 wins, 1 second) and is a 1/2 to a SP winning 2 yo "Thirty One Wins." Dam had 7 siblings to race (including herself), ALL were winners but for one who only had one start. The 98 model was the only one who did not race.

Next dam back, BELLE OF JOVE was a SW:
At 3 Won Southern Belle H. (7,500), 2nd My Fair Lady S. (10,000), 3rd
Lovely Lady H. (7,500)
At 4 3rd New Orleans Symphony H. (O) (15,000

And the NEXT dam back, Mrs. Herman had the remarkable record of

49 starts 12 wins, 6 seconds 5 thirds, earning 95,300 with an SSI of 4.80 and is a 1/2 to the following:

1969 CHESAPEAKE,B,c,Sunrise Flight 5 42 8 8 7 117,112 6.06
DP = 9-4-3-2-0 DI = 4.14 CD = 1.11
At 5 2nd San Diego H. (25,000)
At 6 Won El Monte H. (30,000), San Diego H. (25,000), 3rd Lakes And
Flowers H. (40,000)

Somebody go get her! :D

ageecee - the call to find help for this filly came in the form of an email from Lopetx to their regular mail list. I received it late last night. If you'll PM me with your e-mail address I'll forward it to you. jellac

The mare is free to a good home. LOPE is just passing the word along - all calls should go to Andy (I think he's the trainer).

This mare was gone by Friday afternoon. Just a little while after the email was sent out. I tried to get her myself but she was already gone.
