The Pimlico Special/Dixie/Preakness pick 3 paid $80.10 a $64.10 profit for the $16.00 ticket. I wish I had the time yesterday to replace my picks that were scratched out, but all in all not a bad day. California Chrome and his connections have already given a big boost to racing, a Triple Crown would be icing on the cake. The Belmont will be California Chrome's most difficult task, but as long as the jock waits a little longer than usual to make his move this horse has a big chance to make history. We will see.

Hi DDT,
Good job with that ticket! The Belmont will be filled with another group of new challenger's as well as Ride on Curlin, trying to dethrone CC. Including the other CC (Commanding Curve:>), Tonalist, Commissioner, Danza and Wicked Strong just to name a few. Guess we'll have to see how California Chrome comes out of this race. I've never seen him dragging his butt the way he was after the Preakness. Looks like he does everything so easy, but this race took a lot out of him. I do expect him to bounce back and the 3 weeks should seem like a vacation for him at this point. This is what the TC is all about...it's a grueling, tough series to pull it off and takes a special horse to withstand it and to win the TC. I prefer his running style for the Belmont. We only need him to bounce back as well as he had coming out of the Derby. He looked and trained better at Pimlico then he did at CD....I believe he will like the Belmont strip better then he liked Pimlico's surface, if he continues to carry his weight and thrive as we've seen him after every race.....we could be in for a treat:>) TJ
