Another decent race, with a surprise twist when In Trouble, who was heading to the Wood Memorial, shows up in here? Past Performances below. TJ

Talk about confusing... Vicar's in Trouble VS. In Trouble!
Vicar's in Trouble got a better post this time, I am curious to see if him and Albano go at it.
I like In Trouble's chances in this. I think he will improve off his last, and he's not up against the two Brooklyn brawlers.
Intense Holiday strikes me as a horse that needs a hot pace in front (which there should be), but he'll be in on the rail. I think if he can get out, he'll be running at the end.

Vicar's In Trouble ran huge under Rosie with the help of a better post. Intense Holiday bounced off the rail through the lane and still held 2nd over Commanding Curve who was off slowly....In Trouble a troubled 4th. TJ

Vicar's In Trouble is a tough little horse, but we'll see about Derby day. He'll need a good post!
This year's Derby has me just plain confused.
Hi Cree,
I'm more disappointed then confused....I would have liked to see Honor Code and Top Billing in there. Otherwise I've been there, thereabouts picking the best of the rest:>) It hurt when they took down In Trouble, but the tri was Ok in both these preps today. TJ
I agree, I'm definitely disappointed. I am finding this crop (so far) to be all over the map. With Honor Code, Top Billing, and Shared Belief out, it just seems we are missing something.
I am looking forward to the SA Derby- California Chrome (who is the most exciting to me right now), Candy Boy (really looking forward to seeing him again), and Hoppertunity.
Another horse I have forgotten about, who intrigues me is Ring Weekend. I just read they are sending him to the Calder Derby. No points, but he has enough already to get in.
And, I just realized now that you had the top 4 (good call), that DQ must have really stunk.

Hi Cree,
The SA Derby should be a good match up...Ca. Chrome, Candy Boy and Hoppertunity look like the west coast leaders right now. I'm also looking forward to next Saturday's Wood....Social Inclusion is running in the Wood, so that should be interesting....only problem is he never raced as a 2YO, between him and Constitution they are a couple decent contender's to break the curse of Apollo:>)??
In my opinion, Commanding Curve has emerged as a possible closer among a world of speed for this years Derby. I used him today because he followed the same path his trainer used last season with Golden Soul, who was 2nd to Orb and if he didn't get side swiped coming out of the gate would have been a lot closer. TJ
Here's the replay. Vicar's In Trouble received a 97 beyer for his effort. TJ
