OK, here's another 85 pointer for the East coast 3YO's looking for a spot in the Derby. Nice field of horses, but the group on the West coast look a bit better? A surprise is to see Awesome Banner in this field, after bombing in his first distance attempt in the Fountain Of Youth against Mohaymen just two weeks ago?

Having seen Riker at Woodbine, I just don't think he will do anything but go to the front...as will Awesome Banner and Morning Fire. That leads me to believe that Brodys Cause will have a good pace to run into. My concern is he might have more work to do than Destin who could have the jump on him, and Brody may need a race with that layoff (possibly?).
If Rafting has himself sorted out he is another I like in here.
One horse that intrigues me, but has very little experience is Economic Model - another who can sit off the pace and get an early run on the leaders, but I think he's in a pretty tough race for his first around 2 turns.

Destin likes his blinker change and Tampa.
I wonder where he will go next.

From Pletcher for his 1-2 finishers:
We'll get them back home. All the possibilities are open," said Pletcher. "I would think they'll both run one more time. Probably not the Florida Derby, but the Wood, Blue Grass, Arkansas Derby are all possibilities."

Pretty impressive run from Destin.....he set a new track record in the process (1:42.82). Can't knock Pletcher's 2nd place runner who was just a length behind him. Obviously, Destin's winning time also broke the Tampa Bay Derby Stakes record, set by Street Sense in 2007 (1:42.11). Something to think about? TJ
