This is the first of two Derby preps this Saturday. The Risen Star will be the seasons first 50-20-10-5 points race along the road to the Derby. Horses such as Gun Runner (won BC Classic), Mucho Macho Man (won BC Classic) and Girvin (won the Gr I Haskell) have all won this race, so we could see a future star in the making?
