Does anyone know the name of this 1700s era horse?

Talk about equine color, markings, genetics, etc. Post pictures of flashy Thoroughbreds!

I found a picture of a painting by Stubbs entitled : Lord Grosvenor's Arabian with a groom, c.1765. It is a beautiful chestnut with white - sabino (?) with some white body markings. He is reputed to have had 10 foals between 1766 and 1778. I'll try to include the picture I found in Wikipedia here.

I'm just wondering if he's in Pedigree Query. Thanks.

I remember that this horse was the subject of a thread here, whether as as part of another topic or properly about him. Perhaps it was as part of a subject about this painter. Anyway I remember that photo. Lets see if any other collaborator remembers.

Derby Lyn and Jorge, thanks so much. Mystery solved. Thanks for the reminder about the Heritage site. So much wonderful info there.
