Awww TC, you've made me all nostalgic for the original Nigerian scammers. They're all so sophisticated now. Funny, the 20 million was never deposited in my bank account for helping transfer the funds of the overthrown Royal family either.
I had forgotten about that. Oh and thanks, that picture does show his funky markings much better.

It's 4 months before you can get DNA from the hair samples right?

LOL HH I remember the conversation we had on the back 40 when El D went up to Canada. Oh the frustration of living in the south that day!

Florida is lovely, I am sure Madison and Gatsby would love it on the beach drinking horsie-ritas! Of course we would have to smuggle Madison across the border!

You all crack me up . . . until just last January, you had a lovely palomino - admittedly a single-dilute - standing in Alabama, which is pretty far south of Canada (even though his name is Canadian Kid).

He was born in Alabama, lived in Georgia, moved to California & then back to Alabama for several years. Kid was available down south several different times, before coming north.

Admittedly, we ARE now keeping him north of the Mason-Dixon line. But we DO ship semen & we WILL live cover the right mare (private treaty).

Canadian Kid is such a nice stallion! And he has produced some equally wonderful offspring as well ... :)

Ah well ... suck it up and either move further north, ship your lovely mares to me to breed to Guaranteed Gold, or kwityerbitchin ...

Florida is lovely,

Is that an invite for us to move south and move in with you??? :D

I've addled my eyes reading this

Postby soft hearted » Tue Jul 21, 2009 4:50 am

and having gone through a few pedigrees... came up with this "grey": http://www.pedigreequery.com/drone
Can anyone explain "what" colour he really is, and where it seems to have come from?
That's a classic example of the whole grey/roan label slapped on a wierd coloured horse!

I had to tack on this one (the description made me laugh out loud): http://www.pedigreequery.com/chanticleer

What us are you talking about? Are you trying to push your way into Gatsby's and my arrangements? Go make your own cremello & white colt and then maybe they'll let you into FL or TX too. :D Or maybe they've heard about you and that won't be enough. :P

soft hearted... That "grey" looks more like the new mare TC started this thread about than any grey I've seen. Neat looking horse and I can't wait to see what the clour expert say about where it came from.

Poor Chanticleer!
