Black stallion for sale - Barthelemy - this is a bonafide ad

Postby bonham » Wed Jul 22, 2009 11:22 am

There is a 14 year old black stallion for sale in Houston, TX whose name is Barthelemy, http://www.pedigreequery.com/barthelemy
I first saw his ad in the Blood-Horse, (June 12th I think) and he has an ad on Horsetopia.com: http://horsetopia.horse-for-sale.org/cl ... s/ad389664
He's really lovely. The contact person says they are scaling back, and since he throws foals too big for polo (out of average sized mares), he is the stallion they are having to "let go". He has a lovely pedigree, and was raced (in France) but that info is not in the ad. She says his foals inherit his broad forehead and lovely eyes. I'm hoping someone knows someone who might be looking for a black stallion. Sport horse breeders especially might be interested in him. His 3rd dam is Margarethen, dam of Trillion who was the dam of Triptych. His dam is bred similarly to Triptych.

Barthelemy's broken links fixed

Postby bonham » Thu Jul 23, 2009 3:56 pm

So sorry everyone. I put periods at the end of both URLs which is why the links were broken. I thought I tried those after posting but I guess didn't. I have now fixed the original post.
I have another head shot of him taken inside a barn. He definitely looks black to me, but he has some sun bleaching in his mane. I'm assuming he spends a lot of time outside (it is Texas).
