I'm actually the one selling this guy. It's kind of a long story, but part of the deal I made to purchase a different horse included taking on several other horses and selling them.
Sirius is 4 years old, he is about 15.3 or so (really hard to get an accurate measurement since my stick was stolen, tape is not as good!). Due to his previous owner being out of work, he did not get the nutrition he should have, and therefore may be smaller than his genetics would suggest (meaning, he might have ended up bigger in different circumstances, and he may throw more size than he himself shows--I believe his dam was 16.2) However, I don't think these lines tend to have a lot of size.
He has a pretty trot and a correct walk and canter.
He is not registered (so yeah, it'll be $2K!!) but I have his paperwork.
He is for sale for a reasonable offer
I can go into more detail privately, if anyone is interested, and can be reached through the ad or a pm.

This guy needs to find a new home, I have him priced at $500, or offer! So even after paying his registration fee you'd have a JC registered buckskin stallion for $2500!
He's cute, he's sound, he has a good mind, he's ready to be started. He has been fattened up, vaccinated, wormed, trimmed, etc.
Pictures at <http://public.fotki.com/flashykatt/horses-for-sale-2/> scroll down to Black Gold.
Thanks!
I also have the Comet Shine 5yo mare taken from the same facility, Scintillating Star. Very athletic, catty, and super pretty. Moves big and round. 15.3. She's on the same link above, under "star". Unregistered, would make great eventer! $900 or offer.
I have the paperwork for both of these horses (service certs, JC reg apps).

Yes I think the California thing is a killer. I think he is cute and athletic looking. If he were closer I would have snatched him up for a nice project to work with.

Does Hollywood Ranch still exist? The website is totally outdated.

It is still THERE, but I don't think the website was ever updated from the time they designed it. At least, all of the horses that are no longer at Hollywood Ranch still show up on the website.

He was sold, there are two websites for him now: <http://www.whitemagictb.com/>, which is working, and
<www.freedomsporthorses.com>, which does NOT appear to be working.
His new owner posts here as SouthernStar.
The new pictures of him are MUCH better, he looks fantastic
