Colorful polo pony

I haven't researched whether this is a pure TB or not (some are, some aren't!) but she does appear DW versus manchado overo.

If she really is a Thoroughbred (hmmm, I really don't know), plus given that allegedly she is from Argentina (not particularly known for breeding flamboyant Thoroughbreds), then, if both premises are true, she certainly would be a quite interesting case to study.

But if she is a cross-bred (no 100% percent Thoroughbred) then there is a wide array of possibilities as to from where did she acquired her color.
In other words, not much hope or auspicious ending.

Let's see what else appears.

Thanks for the head start!

Another similarly patterned equine I know:

For the record, both cases (Royal Manchado and Vasco Piskui) are quite unique equines!

Thank you VERY much for that horse Jorge. Im always on the look out for Manchado horses, and had so far only been able to find the photos of Royal Manchado and Trebag. Thanks!

To create the Argentine Polo pony they have crossed TBs with the Criollos and the Criollos have all kind of funky colors and patterns.

Yes if she is a cross bred then her pattern is more likely to come from the Criollo side as it is quite common there, more so than in TBs. I wrote to them, how many others did too? :D

Did a search on Vasco Piskui and found in the same "page" this other
quite interesting phenotype. Wow, if he had sported white dots on his brown splash, he would have looked like some sort of "reverse appaloosa".

Isn't he amazing? He's definitely splash but I wouldn't be surprised if he has other patterns in there too. I think his pedigree is on all breed.

I thought the polo horse looked manchado as well, until I went back and looked at the manchados. Most have very minimal or no leg white and this guys legs are all white. But I do think he looks very dominant white.
