The perlino colt is located in Canada. He is in a wonderful home where I am sure he will live up to his full potential. I sold the mare Palabelle in foal to Smoked Gold last year. Smoked Gold only has 2 foals on the ground...the perlino colt and a bay colt with lots of bling that I own. Not many people have the chance of producing a double dilute, and I was happy that I had the chance and he is in a home where his owner is very grateful to have him in her breeding program. Yes, a very smart buyer! The odds were definately in her favor!
Congrads to both breeder and proud owner!
By the way, I spoke to the owner, she is not selling.
I don't blame her! :D

Congrats!!... And amazing that all 4 of the perlino TB's are in Canada with two at my farm.

When I purchased Golden Belle she was infoal to Kings Ransom. She foaled out a fabulous cremello filly who I named White Beauty. So I know the feeling, very well, of how the owner to the colt must feel.

On Tuesday, August 05, 2008 at 6:10 pm, I posted the following similar thread:

Here is what people responded back then:

List here the PERLINOS you know:

I think there are only two, one is owned by Blazing Colours Farm and one by True Colours Farm and both have been bred by Red Fox Farm.

Dear D.

Thank you so much for your participation and the name included. My area of study are white TBs but we all love all the single and double dilutes.

Blessings,

Blazing Colours Farm has a perlino mare named Platinum and her 08' perlino filly named Sunila.

You can see them on there website: http://www.blazingcoloursfarm.com/foals.html

They also have at least two cremello maximum sabinos: mare(White Gold) and her 07 filly(Snow White)
and two cremello foals: White Safari, White Beauty

I think they had one or two whites and a stained white as well.

Very Colorful Farm

Jorge - Pearlescent (perlino) is confirmed in foal to Guaranteed Gold (cremello) for a 2009 foal, so we do know it will 100% be a double dilute foal and can be a cremello, perlino or might be the world's first smoky cream as well (which is a double dilute of the black gene)!

@mehile

Looking at the pictures of Sunila she could also be a dark Cremello as on the barn picture the body color and mane and tail color look same dark cream and on the standing up picture she looks cremello to me. Has she been tested?

I don't think they have tested her yet. At least there isn't any notice of it on there website. I was thinking the same thing about her color but her dam doesn't look perlino to me either so I'm not sure. We could send an e-mail to the farm and get an answer strait from the horse's mouth.
