New Stallion...

Postby Pennylane » Wed Sep 16, 2009 11:42 am

 Needless to say we are just over the moon with the opportunity we have had to be able to purchase a new addition to our family.

Sir Knight Shadow is a "true black" fully reg'd TB stallion with a beautiful face that sports a nicely marked white blaze and four matching white socks.

The paperwork is finally done and the transport company should be picking him up at the end of this week. If all goes well he will be home here at the beginning of next week.

We will post more pictues once he arrives.

Now I just need a "true black" mare to become his wife!

Is he currently in the US? I'll block the border here in Michigan... its just right up the road from me. Depending on where he is coming from I know that he will come through one of these crossings.

Hey, congrats by the way. Do you need a layover for him in Michigan so he can rest first? :D

Thanks for the offer Derby Lyn!

The reason we chose the shipper we did was because there was no off loading at all. It was a straight run right through.

I am sure those lay over barns are somewhat clean and disinfected but with as many horses as we have here as well as bred mares and babies I just can't afford to take any chances what so ever.

Maybe you and Headless Horseman could come up on a road trip for a visit some time?

And Reedhill, I did look at your mare but I am looking for something with lots and lots of white on her legs and not too far away.

Thanks Carolyn!

And you will see the rest of him not before I do!

I promise I will take pictures once he has landed here and then post.

He is a nice boy. I saw him in person a couple of times. Great temperament.
