Here are a few pictures Jill sent me yesterday of the Nightlight filly taken at 14 months of age:

I am
COMPLETELY bowled away by how fabulous she is looking! Jill has her entered in the Futurity at the end of the month and then she'll be put away for the winter to grow (???) and mature (???) some more!
Faux Finish ended up being a smidge under 17hh at maturity and I can see this full sister getting to be in that exact same size range as well ...

Doesnt this combination throw the EXACT same head??? Time and time again?!
This years filly is identical as well. I am just waiting for this hot humid buggy weather to abate a bit so I can get some new pictures done of her as well without her swishing and stomping at the flies
When are WE going to see some nice updated pictures of her big sister Chai Latte?! Hmmmm?!

I guess the 12th of NEVER...
I did notice last night that my "fall colors" are in the field...I call the horses that when the sun stops bleaching out their coats...they are NICE and DARK BUT NOT FURRY YET....PERFECT....
She did get the beauty treatment a few weeks ago...I did her mane and gave her a bath...I should have taken some then...but I never have anyone to help me out...and candid shots are nice..but NOT what you and everyone else wants to see..

Still waiting Darla!!!
Okay - here are the new pictures from yesterday at the PA Futurity where she won her yearling class, was Champion Filly and Reserve Grand Champion for the show. I am so proud of her and can hardly wait to see her come out as a 2 year old! And man - even next to Jill, for a filly that is 15 months old in these pictures, she is HUGE!!!

so unique.
You can tell that she would be gorgeous even without the colouring. Even if she was, God forbid a plain chestnut.

Funny you should say that ... The full sibling from this year is a plain palomino without a stitch of white on her, and as she is maturing, she might have the prettiest head out of all of them so far.
She is also shedding out to a very deep gold as her foal coat is coming out and usually the paly's dont get this dark this quickly, so I think she is going to be a very deep gold palomino once her mature coat comes in ...
