Bay filly with bling in Keeneland sale

Postby aethervox » Tue Sep 22, 2009 9:49 am

I was watching the online feed of the Keeneland sales and saw a bay filly with three high stockings and a wide blaze. She's hip 2242, by Rockport Harbor out of Decoratedwithhonor.

I managed to get some screen captures from the video (apologies for the poor quality).

Not surprising. Rockport Harbor had a decent amount of white and is definitely splash IMO. Rocky's DAM has very significant white (more than Rocky).

Yeah $20k was just a widdle out of my price range for that girl! She also has Conquistador Cielo on the dam sire line :) Very well enforced color.

OMG this was the first mare I saw walking from the pavillion back to her barn.. I followed her for a bit (stocker!) her face was amazing and that front left was just a "fender" not a full sock!

Two hips later, I think, #2244 was a chestnut filly by Forestry with a much bigger blaze and four white socks. She RNA'd at Zero. You could have had her for $1K.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

WOW!!! If those three aren't proof of splash in TBs I don't know what is.

This is so exciting!
