I have no idea where this is at, or what breed, just thought it was interesting. Look at the other videos by this poster also.

obviously gaited horses http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXD11AgU ... re=related

Those ears crack me up. Makes me wonder if they pin them up this way or not.

It's natural. They are Marwari/Kathiawari:

They have one at the Kentucky Horse park, black with lots of white and blue eyes, and those cute ears!

I have seen such horses in India, they are Marwaris, the ear tips touch themselves.

I didn't realize they were gaited. I will take a stab and say that either SB1 or dominant white (SB2-? =) is alive and well in that breed!

I suspect it's SB1 or another form of SB. They don't look dominant white (DW) to me. I haven't really seen much sabino evidence. They do have alot of splash though. It could just be splash and tobi playing around.

I was told by guy from India that the ears are croped and they were outlawed at some point for being inhumane. Notice the saddle placement on the one?? Want to sit on his kidneys much??

I find that hard to believe given that every foal I've ever seen had ears like that, some far too young to have had surgery already.

Those ears are naturally, I know someone breeding Marwaris and they are born like this already.

well I guess he doesn't know what he's talking about, and frankly I'm not surprised, we actually had a debate about wether or not herpes B is fatle in humans when not treated, this is a doctor, and he does not belive a woman from a primate center died from a drop of infected monkey pee in her eye!! It happened!!

Marwaris are naturally curvey eared, kathiwaris were bred from crossing marwaris with TBs and other larger horses for a bigger horse for the army. they may or may not have the curled ears. Because of being developed for the army (and such) they are more restricted in colors.
