While my French is not the greatest ...

It
IS good enough to understand that:
Son père, Pure White Gold est actuellement le seul étalon Pur Sang Palomino blanc au monde
That they are stating that Pure White Gold is the
ONLY pure white stallion in the
WORLD!!! Which we all know is a load of bull ...
http://www.chevaldecouleur.fr:80/fr/ind ... e-gold-foxAnd I think this is saying:
The Gold Fox vient d'être mis en vente et c'est LE SEUL étalon Pur Sang ET Palomino en France, et sans doute en Europe.
that he is the only palomino TB in France and in all of Europe??? Which I think is going to tick Gwen off once she reads this!!!

As she has many palomino TB's not only in Germany but those that she has sold in Europe and the UK as well ...
And honestly - the red flags go up
BIG TIME when you have a 4 year old stallion for sale, and all that are on his sale page are photo's of him as a
YEARLING??! Ummm ... why?!
Why do people
STATE crap like this when
SO much of it is untrue???!

How annoying. I just seem to be seeing more and more and more like this and it is really disheartening.

Correctly the ad says that Pure White Gold is the only Palomino and White TB stallion in the world which we all know is not true. I do however not think that Herica has made that ad but that it has rather been set up by the breeder or owners of Gold Fox to attract buyers.
As we all know Blazing Colours has Cloud Ten And White Pharao which are both Palomino AND all white and I had Snowman, also Palomino all white which I sold to Vanessa in France, so definitely France already has a Palomino AND an all white Palomino that is. So there are 4 Palomino and all White TB colts/stallions that I know of.
Glitter Of Gold was imported in spring 2001 and so was Golden Desire, then Mr Din-X was imported to Denmark before The Gold Fox came to UK, then there are two Palomino TBs in UK from Colorworld Ranch, so there are several Palomino TBs in Europe already aside of my two Palomino TB fillies born this year.

There are quite a few sites around that suggest that.

The same site states that they have the only frame overo palomino TB in the world which is also not true.
Premiere Gold Flake- 2009 Jockey Club Registered & Dual Registered Frame Overo Palomino Filly by Zillionair out of Start The Rumors. Born on January 27, 2009 at 2:34 AM. Fancy is the WORLD'S FIRST & ONLY PALOMINO FRAME OVERO JC TB!!! She is eligible for dual papers with APHA and for International Hunter Futurity. Fancy will knock your socks off when you see this girl move...one word WOW!!! This filly is very correct and has incredible movement. She is going to be just stunning when she gets her yellow coat back in the spring with all her contrasting white spots!!! This is a very special one and only, and not just for her color either!!!

I know why they claim that one. I'm paraphrasing but this was the jist on another forum: "The actual first one is supposedly a palomino frame but he looks just sabino to me."

Pull some hairs and that will solve the problem real quick. They may be the first but they definitely aren't the best. Sad that that is their only gimmick.

The hairs were pulled, he is genetically a frame... but apparently it doesn't count because he doesn't look it.

Well...the same could be said about the filly. I doubt she's actually been tested anyhow.
Helen, you hit the nail on the head.

Perhaps we should be breeding for the 'best' not the 'first'. In some cases it truly is 'first the worst'

No the filly hasn't been tested to my knowledge (although I am 100% confident she's positive).
Glenhill: I couldn't agree more. Nightlight not withstanding.

She may be positive, but they shouldn't be making a claim like that unless they know for sure. Not that I am at ALL surprised.
Nightlight is fabulous.
