Unmistakable "bay" that still looks "chestnut

A curious equine. At first it looks "chestnut" but then, when you look
its tail and mane, its unmistakably bay. But then, it looks somehow "chestnut".

If you can find chestnut or bay hair on those legs you're better than me. The white stockings extend almost to his chest.

He has so much white..he looks like a Clydesdale.... COLOR ONLY OF COURSE

How come did I thought it was a "chestnut"?

I agree...it's the color of those leg markings! Yikes take a look at those hooves! :shock:
