Darla - you nut!!!

I dont know if Jill got any pics of her or not but the official show photographer should be posting them shortly :)

Truly - yeah its the same here as well and yes this Guaranteed Gold / Puchi Trap combination stamps them ALL with the exact same look. They are now like 7 peas in the exact same pod ...

As soon as I get pics to post, I'll do so

I can hardly wait to get her home ... 5 days and counting ... :)

She isn't sunbleached at all is she? Is that her normal color? I'm starting to think I need to send my mares hair out to get tested. She looks a lot like her color and the other smokey black out west.

I dont THINK she is sunbleached - its WAY too early in the season to be sunbleached and I know from talking with Jill a few weeks ago, she was mentioning how they just brought the horses in (in the morning) as they had been out all night, so it does seem like they are doing night turnout instead of day turnout with them

Yeah - she is VERY gold in colour isnt she? Much more so than I remember her being

Maybe thats how smoky black's shed out in the summer months???

I think my friends QH gelding is a smokey black. He is black with the golden hair in his ears. He gets jet black in the winter and kind of a gold like her in summer.

I was thinking since she is showing that she probably isn't sun bleached(meaning she stays in during the day to avoid the bleaching). She sure is a gorgeous mare! Best of luck with her.

Here are a couple more Devon pictures that I believe Joan Watt took. She appears MUCH darker in these - and more like I remember her looking

I wonder if the "pro" photo's arent perfect until you purchase them in HiRes format and then they adjust colour tones, etc???

These are fabulous! :)

Jill said she is sitting around 16.1hh now and should mature to the same size range that Faux Finish has - in the 16.3-17hh range and she said she is broader than FF - and has more substance and bone. And here I thought FF was kind substantial enough!!! :D
