One of my kids growing up :)

Just thought I'd post some pics of Bassy :)
I bought him from Gwen at 8 months old as an exchange for a stud fee.
I didn't really want another horse and especially one that wasn't a TB lol but I'm glad I bought him :)

He is by RFF The Alchemist (TB) out of Mona Lisa (Knabstrupper)

Ambassador Vom Falkenhorst when he was a baby at Gwens 2008

With Aurumba also by The Alchemist out of my TB mare Samba Beat on his second day in England January 2009

Wow he has matured into a very nice youngster! How tall is he now? I need to repeat that breeding absolutely, but Alchemist is actually away in training and looks forward to his first competition.

Thanks TC and Color :)

Yes I'm very pleased with him :)...he is very affectionate..sometimes toooo much lol..he is like a kid with ADHD at the moment though lol..just can't concentrate for too long and needs your attention all the time.
He was a bit naughty at the show and I felt sooo tired after spending an hour in the ring lol..felt like I'd just ridden a X-C round lol

The judge must have liked him because she placed him 5th and I thought he'd be last as he was leaping about!...she did realise he was the only colt in the class though. Most of the judges are really strict on manners in a Sportshorse class so I'd have loved to have known where she'd have placed him if he behaved?

He gets tons of nice comments from people..they all are wowed by his colour :)

Thankyou LB :)

Gwen he is about just over 16hh but I haven't actually measured him.
Aurumba is about just under 16hh but his mummy is just under 15.2hh :)

Please post updated pics of Alchie as I like to keep a family album :)

Since he is away I cannot take pics but got promised that someone will take pics for me when he competes.

You need to give this boy his own page now as I guess there will be some mares asking for his service next year if he continues to look so fabulous.
