El Dorado Palomino Yearling... Picts!

Postby BlazingColours » Tue Sep 21, 2010 1:45 pm

I have been getting new pictures of the horses on the farm before winter sets in and they all turn into water buffalo :D

So I wanted to share a couple pictures of my El Dorado yearling. Looking pretty good for the gangly stage ;)

He is just over 16h and 17 months old.

Thanks!! Nope, he is for sale... I generally try and keep a couple of the smaller ones to start myself. But really I only keep them long enough to get started under saddle and then sell. So all the *kids* will eventually be for sale :) I am 5'3 so would rather not back the 16.3h+ three/four year olds. Though I will and am currently really enjoying this 16.3h gelding.

Thanks!!! I have 40+ here right now. 6 breeding stallions, 10 mares, a couple pasture puffs and the rest ranging in ages of weanlings to 6 year olds.

The gelding above that I am riding is Mirascotch. http://www.blazingcoloursfarm.com/mirascotch.htm He is a 4 year old WB by Mirbeau. Those pictures were taken at his first time out schooling at a horse show. He is a wonderful, easy going and nice moving gelding, just over 16.3h such a lovable charecter!!!

And stay tunned because we are adding new pictures of many of the horses!!! They are all growing up...

Headless, I just think you owe it to yourself to come on over for a tour sometime soon! :o

We have an El Dorado filly who we just adore, his babies are absolutely lovely and an honor to have as well as are Mirabeau's.

It is so nice that we have a choice here in Ontario with cremello stallions to breed to and consider ourselves actually spoiled in a way.

We think "our" babies are just stellar but I guess I have to commend April for having a few nice ones as well as without her, we wouldn't have what we do. :P
