Aurumba's update :)

Postby Truly » Sat Oct 23, 2010 4:32 pm

Well Laura my daughter and I went to visit Crinkle on Friday :)

We were thrilled with his progress!...we walked round to find him tacked up and in the walker...he looked so grown up!
I got all emotional and had tears in my eyes lol...Pat the trainer laughed and called me a big softie lol

They then took him in the lunge ring and lunged him with long reins both ways.

Then they took him in the riding arena, where they had a lovely sensible horse to give him a lead :)

Then the young girl was legged up onto him and lead round and then the took the lead rein off and he trotted round following the other horse :)

Then he was brought back to walk around the yard and the girl got off and was legged back up a couple more times.

He was soooo good...I was sooo proud of him :)

They really like him and say he has been really easy and sensible :)

They like it that he has been so well handled and taking him to shows etc has paid off :)...they usually have youngsters in to back that come straight off the field.

I'll go back to see him next week..they said they like it when the owners come to visit them as most owners only bother when their horses are at the racecourse.

That sounds so looks so good I saw your photos on FB Crinkle looks amazing well done you must be so proud, bit different from how Rummy was done with his first trainer who just louged him into the ground until he went lame, and gave him splints we took him away as they were just grabbing the money its all there interested in.
just so pleased for you with your boy hes being done properly.
good luck with him.
