Here are a couple pictures of my new acquisition. I bought him before he went to New Holland sale. He was a hard-knocker- Ran 88 Times and made over $110,000 and retired sound! He is just a pasture ornament- but is eye candy!!

HE is cute.....looks like he ran so fast his knee socks are falling down...

Good Luck with him...I hope he makes your pasture a more colorful place...

He is very cute - would you share his JC name?

(by post or PM?)

I try to keep track of hard-knockin' racehorses, whenever I see them.

Very cute! Good for you for getting him before he ended up there. I've seen so many dealer's working with the rescues to make a profit at those auctions. I just send my friend who lives in the area to check them out and bring them home for a third less what they claim it'll take to rescue them.

A note on another curious case

Seems like the Canadian mare Victory Ready is very prone to producing black or near black Thoroughbreds. Alas her products are gelded (Camp Victory and Victory Ready)
See her pedigree at: http://www.pedigreequery.com/victory+ready
