Some new pictures of "Four Feet of Snow"

Postby TrueColours » Thu Feb 03, 2011 4:59 am

Here are some pictures of Four Feet of Snow (VERY aptly named I might add!!! :D ) from yesterday

He is the palomino and white colt by Guaranteed Gold out of Puchi Trap and a full sibling to Faux Finish, Chai Latte, TCF Nightlight, Remember My Name, etc

As a baby so you can really see the palomino and white colouring:

and yesterday in his winter coat when he simply looks "white" and thats it ...

He's growing up SO nicely - he's 8 months old in these photo's and I wouldnt change a thing about him ... :)

I am REALLY looking forward to this snow being gone though and his nice gold summer coat to come in as well ...

wow! congratulations he is such a beauty ! Puchi Trap is a gorgeous mare to breed with!

This new colt looks much like his brother "Remember my name", the markings came out very similar didn't they?

Donna,

Can you post one conformation photo of each one of Puchi's Trap products. Wow this is a special producer.

Wow Donna, what a great producer! Hope that the Thoroughbred descendants of her may be preserved for future generations along with her warmblood counterparts. In my opinion the Thoroughbred breed deserves her impressive phenotypical legacy. :D

Thank you so much Donna.

Remember My Name - very very sadly - - was euthanized last year at the trainer's place where his owner had him. He developed a very bad infection from a puncture wound and despite being on antibiotics, under vet care and then having surgery done, they couldnt save him

This colt is SO much like him in every way - they could be twins ...

John - she IS an unbelievable mare in every possible way and Ive often mused why this cross has worked as well as it has - every single foal, every single year. Even the plain palomino filly was just beautiful to look at despite having "0" white on her.

I know there have been many threads on many boards about full siblings and how different they are, looks wise, markings wise, personality and temperament wise, but for some reason (thank Goodness!) this cross seems to be hard wired to produce the exact same product every single time and I am not complaining one single bit ... :) Its actually really hard to say which one out of all of these have been "The Best" as they are all virtually identical in every way

Thanks for the nice comments - can hardly wait for him to shed out to a much darker golden colour come spring ... :)
