Guaranteed Gold / American Iris foal born!

Postby TrueColours » Tue Feb 15, 2011 7:05 am

Lovely palomino DW filly born 2 nights ago with some fabulous markings and a gorgeous and beautiful dished head on her! :)

I sold Iris last year to a lady that will be riding and showing Iris this year once she weans her foal but looking at this cross, I really hope she re-breeds her to GG again - soon!!! :D This cross was absolutely magical and Guaranteed Gold really helped improve the mare in areas that she needed help in ...

Thanks John! One problem though ... the mare AND foal belong to my client and Debbie intends to keep and show Iris and if her kids and husband have any say in the matter, keep the filly as well ...

Besides the fact that she is soooooooooooooooooooo cute, I have to say she looks very straight legged for being just born! Foals come out like a little overbent sometimes and it corrects by itself in the following days...but this girl... she came out just right.

Really nice colour and great pattern ! snowflakes :) hahaha

Or "Golden Flakes", but then it would sound too much like "Frosted Flakes" LOL
 No...........that won't work, she's not a cripsy, crunchy, cereal. Sorry
a little sleep deprived, couldn't resist!

One of the suggestions I gave to Debbie she loved!

"Pixilated" and Pixie as a barn name

So - its been submitted and we'll hear on Monday or Tuesday if its been accepted :)

Why not name her: "ARCHIPELAGO" for her curious archipelago-style rear upper leg markings?
