Successful 1st year for Electrum :)

Postby Truly » Wed Aug 31, 2011 5:08 pm

Electrums Buckskin filly foal 'Auriane' has had a successful year showing :)

She has won at two out of three big shows over here in England!

Last Monday she won the Hunter Foal class, stood Reserve Champion in the Hunter Breeding and won Best Filly in the Hunter Breeding Youngstock (foals, yearlings, 2yo's and 3yo's)

Her Thoroughbred Dam Primitive Passion aka Truly also won the Hunter Broodmare class and shared the Reserve Championship with her :)

I'm very proud as I bred Auriane's dam and owned her Grand Dam also.

It has been a great opportunity to show everyone that Electrum throws good foals and isn't just used for colour lol

Please forgive the proud great great granny post :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!! For the yanks here, in Canada and England the first place ribbon is red, not blue.. blue is second place. It is reversed in the US.

Thank you everyone :)
Just read I made a typo...I bred Auriane's dam, Grand dam and owned her Great Grand dam :)
We call ribbons rosettes over here btw :) I wonder why we call them differently? does Canada call them ribbons also?
