Sadly, this is not the right venue for this filly to be showcased, in my opinion. This catalog page is just not a commercial one, and I suspect they won't be able to get a bid enough to make up their entry fee.

Certainly a who's who of the color sires though. West Coast Dalene breeding?

That is a really, really, really bad place to put her.

She is stunning and a spectacular mover and was purchased before the sale, so she is scratched.
A client of mine purchased her and she is on short stay at RHF until the new owner moves across country into another state.
She can be seen on my FB page. She was very thin, but gaining nicely.

Interesting! A Panoramic granddaughter! And I love Matricule as well.

Interesting that it was a Berva Megson consignment - they are the people that paid the $85,000 (or whatever it was) for the white yearling that went through the sales a few years back

Can access / find your FB page Carolyn. Can you post a picture of her?

Thanks! :)

I know I have asked innumerable stupid questions on this color thread, so here goes again: Why is this filly "black?"

It's what God intended her to be. Below is her sire and dam.

She is black, she just has white markings they don't mention in sales catalogs! I think there would have been more interest had people known she was a pinto. But I am glad she got sold privately, she sure needed groceries!

Ahh yes the strength of a POWER PACK wormer and free choice hay and great feed does a world of good. She is a sweetheart, I was thinking about spray painting her black and switcching her and giving the new owner something else, LOL. She is tall and when she comes into her own will be smashing! The owner has plans to show her at APHA and Pinto hopefully at the world level in English events.
