Flashy chestnut

Postby Zahrah » Thu Oct 06, 2011 4:09 pm

My flashy chestnut Dunkirk filly is in November along with her dam. The dam is a spitting image of her, just without the high stockings, but she's a 16.3 massive bodied Pleasant Tap mare who is a half-sister to multiple G1 winner Shadow Cast infoal to Scat Daddy.

The Dunkirk filly is super smart and a big girl who is built like her mom but with a bit more elegance. And her mane and tail are much more flaxen than it appears in photos. She actually has a ton of silver hair in her mane.

Just thought I'd share since she's quite "colorful".

Looks like she is going to grow quite a bit. Nice filly.

I just looked at another post about her....was she raised by a nurse mare?

Wow, what a beauty!

Yes. Her dam is a great and kind mother but she carried this filly long and I wanted to use the nursemare on the farm.
