He looks like a normal yearling to me. This is what they look like when they're not fatted and fit for the sales ring.

He does look like he could be true black.

He certainly does. He looks normal weight to me. Look at his SM who is a tad ribby but look at her face. No pedigree info though:

I'm not saying he's starvin'..just wondering if that rump would fill out a bit with a little more time, food. Things are pretty lean here in the pasture/hay dept. in Texas.

I wonder if that filly has Blue Eyed Streaker?

Well, he's another one for the folks collecting Brown x Brown crosses. Both parents are listed as brown, or dark bay brown. Is Suave a bay or brown?

I think Suave is probably bay but this is not the first black I've seen by him.
