She's by Middleground out of Scattered by Whirlaway--1957. Her 2nd dam is Imperatrice and paired with Whirlaway I just found that really fascinating. Seriously this is a huge pedigree, very successful on the track, she had siblings and at least one was also successful. Does she have any progeny? Seems terrible to lose that female family, esp. looking at the fillies who are actually winners, not just related to winners. Her full-sis was apparently killed in a barn fire after winning the Alabama and that clinched it, I just had to know what was up with Disperse.

Whoever entered Disperse in to the DB made a boo-boo - she was a HE. :wink: I don't know if he ever had a career at stud, though.

Rats guess I'm gonna have to look at "his" less accomplished sisters if I wanna keep it in the female line although maybe not. I'll play with it some tomorrow.
