Marg,
Right off hand, I am thinking of mares with CARO. I bred my mare to MOONLIGHT DANCER who has the Carr de Nascra, Caro combination and he was a stakes winner of over $400K. He stands 17 hands. Have a lovely chestnut colt by him out of Sidewalk Talk, a Mr. Prospector line mare. Of course, he's not ofracing age, so I don't know what he will be doing when he grows up. 90% depends on who trains and runs them in my opinion. I love the Nascra group of stallions; they ahave been good and durable runners and enjoed fair success as sires.
HIs best son appears to be L'Carriere [Breeder: Virginia Craft Payson
State Bred: NY; Winnings: 22 Starts: 8 - 4 - 2, $1,326,175] who is out of a Northern Dancer line mare. You shouldn't have too much problems finding a mare with this breeding.
He sired SIR RICHARD LEWIS [Winnings: 16 Starts: 4 - 2 - 1, $442,374o] ut of Sue Babe by Mr. Prospector and 2nd dam is by Northern Dancer.
Going through the list of his get, I don't really see a strong nicking pattern though.
Best wishes
Sabine
