Sumire Stakes (L)

Postby Heidilady » Sun Apr 15, 2007 6:02 pm

I just was curious about this race and is this something we would add to this database? I swear I usually know what the L means but I'm drawing a blank in this moment. It's been won by Zenno Rob Roy at some point if I read the really tiny print right on the result I got when I googled the race.

It's in Japan. The reason it came up on my radar is there's a horse by Theatrical named Bourbon County that comes up blacktype and lists this in his info but the race isn't in the system. I just got through taking the blacktype status off of an unraced filly (ugh, seriously) and wanted to make sure the other horses sans earnings had legit blacktype status.

(L) means Listed Stakes, I believe. :)

If you have enough info to add the race, you may go ahead and add it...as far as I know, there are no restrictions on the stakes database (even non-blacktype ones are in there), but even if there were, a Japanese listed stake would certainly qualify.
